Hi friends!
We are now back in Lisbon. She made it! The VW behaved greeeeat!!! Not a single mechanical problem in almost 4.000 Km (and part of it in really tough terrain conditions...). She arrived with the same power she had in the beginning of the trip!
In order to respect the principle of charity we are now selling the van. Action live at http://leiloes.sapo.pt/deal.html?id=2483677. Part of the money will go directly to a Gambian NGO - La Sonrisa de Africa (http://www.lasonrisadeafrica.org/).
We will depart tomorrow to London and the day after to The Gambia (let`s hope we can travel, avoiding the snow in London..). We will be taking with us 170 presents and some medicines (with a value of +500 eur!) that Team Switzerland, our friends and partners during the last 15 days in Morocco, kindly gave us to donate to the Gambian NGO.
We´ll be back on 21th January. We hope we`ll be able to upload some photos in the blog, when in The Gambia.
